OK Belmont – the weather is cooling. The days are getting shorter. The leaves are starting to turn. That means only one thing: this year’s Apple Run is just around the corner and its time to register!
The FBE Apple Run – in its 13th year -is Sunday, October 26, 2025. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, walking with family, or cheering from the sidelines, you don’t want to miss this special event.
About the Apple Run
Hosted by the Foundation for Belmont Education, the Apple Run is a Halloween-themed event that features two runs:
- 5K — starting at 9:30 am
- 2K — starting at 10:45 am
Both begin and finish at the Belmont High School Track (291 Concord Avenue), with fun courses designed for all ages and abilities. Whether you want something scenic, spook-filled, or simply family friendly, there’s a route for you.
Why You Should Run
Proceeds from the Apple Run support innovation and educational enrichment in Belmont Public Schools via the Foundation for Belmont Education (FBE). Your participation helps fund grants, scholarships, and new opportunities for students.
Registration Info and Dates
- Register early to guarantee your shirt and beat onsite-lines. Online registration closes two days before the event.
- Race bib & t-shirt pickup is available the day before (Saturday, October 25) at Chenery Upper Elementary from 10 am-2 pm. On race day, pickup opens early, but expect lines.
- Registration fees:
• 5K = $35
• 2K = $20
• Combo (5K+2K) = $40
