Halloween’s approaching and that means one thing if you’re a local runner: The Apple Run is on the way.

Scheduled for Sunday, October 27th, the 2024 Apple Run is just around the corner, and it’s shaping up to be an exciting community event for runners and families alike! Hosted by the Foundation for Belmont Education (FBE), the Apple Run offers a 5K and a 2K race, perfect for both seasoned runners and those looking for a fun, family-friendly challenge.

This Year’s Race: October 27th

Mark your calendars for Sunday, October 27, 2024, and get ready to hit the scenic streets of Belmont, Massachusetts, while supporting a fantastic cause: enhancing the educational experience for Belmont’s public school students.

The 5K race is an excellent opportunity to test your endurance while running through the picturesque neighborhoods of Belmont. Whether you’re chasing a personal best or simply aiming to finish, the course promises a great balance of challenge and community spirit. With the updated route that winds through the Winn Brook neighborhood, the Apple Run offers a great opportunity to run your best time – and take your Halloween costume for a spin, with an awards ceremony following the completion of the 5K and 2K races and prizes for the top three male and female finishers in each race, as well as to top teams and best costume!

If you’re competitive, now’s the time to gather your friends, colleagues, or family members and form a team to join the race! Even if competition isn’t your thing, the joy of being part of such a meaningful event, surrounded by like-minded people, will make your experience unforgettable.
