Tomorrow: Vigil In Solidarity with our Asian American Friends & Neighbors

A note to Blogging Belmont readers. In the wake of the tragic killings in Atlanta this week, including six women of Asian descent, residents will be gathering at Belmont High School tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon for a vigil for the victims and to stand in solidarity with our Asian American friends, family members and neighbors.

The vigil will take place in the Belmont High parking lot at 3:00 PM. Attendees are asked to wear masks and observe social distancing during the vigil.

Vigils and other demonstrations of solidarity have taken place across the country in the wake of the attack, which follows a year of increased violence against Asian Americans.
