A meeting with the engineering firm hired to design Belmont’s Community Path has been moved from Wednesday, Nov 2 to Wednesday Nov. 9 at 7:00 PM. Mark your calendars – and be sure to turn out!

Walking Tour Of Community Path: Eastern End Saturday

There’s a walking tour of the Eastern half of the proposed Community Path tomorrow (Saturday Oct. 1 at noon) and another on the Western half on October 15. Also, there’s a survey for residents about their preferences for the Path.

Community Path Trail Walk This Saturday October 15 at 9AM

The weather looks good for a tour of the western end of the proposed Belmont Community Path on Saturday morning at 9:00 AM. Meet at the Star Market Parking Lot. The tour will be led by members of the Community Path Implementation Committee and the consultants hired by the town to evaluate possible routes for the path.

Important Meeting on Minuteman Tonight (Thursday) at Beech Street Center

Belmont Town Meeting will vote to leave the Minuteman School District on October 19. A meeting tonight (October 13) at the Beech Street Center will give the Minuteman Administration a chance to make their case for the town to stay.

Belmont Goes Electric (Vehicles)

The same folks who launched Belmont’s highly successful “Belmont Goes Solar” solar power drive are putting together a new effort to push to increase the number of electric vehicles in Belmont: “Belmont Drives Electric.” There are two informational meetings next week.
