Just a shout out to the BloggingBelmont community about a very important Board of Selectmen meeting that will take place in the Gallery on the 3rd floor of the Homer Building this Monday, April 6. The BOS will be hearing from the Wellington Building Committee, following the MSBA’s approval of a $12m + grant for the project.
We need to get strong support from BOS for the debt exclusion. There’s no better way to ensure that than to put a lot of bodies in the room to speak in favor of the Wellington project!
While the BOS meeting is scheduled to start at 7:00 PM, the expectation is that the Wellington issue won’t come up until around 8:00 PM. The School Committee is expected to be in attendance, as well as PTO members and members of Together for Wellington.
